So I went to see Northwestern this morning with my parents and my sister. I loved the campus; there was a cute area with a ton of shops and a variety of small restaurants, it's right on Lake Michigan, and there's transportation downtown from the school - they have some downtown campus and it's not that far. I love downtown Chicago so that's a huge plus - even though my parents are telling me not to base a single thing on location and campus. The weather decided to be windy and cold today though so the tour wasn't as nice as it could have been - my parents didn't like it at all haha. 'It' as in the weather, not the school. They love the idea of me going to school there. They'd be able to visit me whenever they want...yeah. But I'm pretty sure I'm applying there next year, so hopefully everything works out. This college stuff is getting to me a little though. I want to have everything figured out, but I still need to get all my testing in. Ahh, I'll get through it I guess.

"Where the Wild Things Are" is coming out October 16th. Directed by Spike Jonze. (trailer) I remember reading that book and now I want to go find it again and reread it! "Wake Up" by Arcade Fire in the background; good music in film/tv makes me so happy - two of my favorite things melted together :)
